HUMAN RIGHTS – THE KEY TO CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: What is Corporate Social Responsibility? – The concept and emerging consensus; What roles are governments playing: – National, regional and multilateral developments; What are the roles of in-house lawyers?

ENERGY AND EMISSIONS TRADING: Speakers will discuss current legislation and practices in energy and emissions trading.

LEGAL WORLD IS FLAT: Discussion of legal aspects of outsourcing and outsourcing of legal services.

ETHICS AND PROFESSIONALISM: Are lawyers becoming unpaid government agents? Topics to be discussed include: The governmental assault on client confidentiality, the attorney-client privilege, and the attorney work product. A 3-hour interactive program is designed to meet the Ethics and Professionalism requirements of CA, NY, and all other US MCLE jurisdictions.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE FOR LAWYERS: This 1-hour program is designed to meet the Substance Abuse requirements of CA and OH and to provide credit in other states as well.

ELIMINATION OF BIAS ISSUES IN THE LEGAL PROFESSION: This 1-hour program will meet the Elimination of Bias approval criteria for CA and MN.
